Getting Started
What is the Heroic Partner Program?
The Heroic Partner Program rewards you for referring customers to one or more products in our product suite. When someone you refer makes a purchase, you earn a commission. The program is free to join, and we provide tracking, a real-time dashboard, promotional resources, and dedicated support to help you succeed.
Who is a good fit for this program?
People whose audience overlaps with Heroic's mission of helping high-performers close the gap between their potential and their performance. Great fits include authors and speakers in the personal development space, performance and executive coaches, business and mindset podcasters, fitness and wellness influencers, and anyone who serves entrepreneurs, executives, or high-performing professionals.
Is there a cost to join?
No. The Heroic Partner Program is completely free to join and participate in.
How long does approval take?
Most applications are reviewed within 48 hours. You'll receive an email confirmation once approved, along with access to your Partner Dashboard and tracking links.
Commissions & Earnings
How much can I earn?
Partners can earn up to 50% commission on eligible digital products across the Heroic product suite. A single referred customer can generate commissions across multiple purchases over time through the value ladder.
How does the tier system work?
Three tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. All new partners start at Bronze. Based on total lifetime referrals, you move up tiers and increase your commission rate. Progress is always visible in your Partner Dashboard.
Do I earn commissions on upsells?
Yes. You earn commissions on all qualifying purchases your referred customer makes within a 12-month window from their initial purchase. If they upgrade or buy additional products, you earn on each.
What products are eligible for commissions?
Commissions apply to eligible digital products across the Heroic product suite. The full list and rates are available in your Partner Dashboard (Dub.co).
Tracking & Attribution
How are my referrals tracked?
You receive a unique partner link through Dub.co. When someone clicks your link, a cookie is placed on their browser. If they purchase within the attribution window, you receive full credit.
What if someone doesn't buy right away?
Your attribution window is 60 days. As long as they complete a purchase within 60 days of clicking your link, you get full credit for the sale and all subsequent purchases within the 12-month commission period.
What if a customer clicks multiple partner links?
We use first-touch attribution. The partner whose link the customer clicked first receives credit. Only one partner receives commission per customer.
Payouts
When do I get paid?
Twice monthly on the 10th and 25th. There is a 30-day provisioning window after each sale before the commission becomes eligible for payout.
Is there a minimum payout?
No. Any earned commission is paid on the next scheduled payout date.
How do I receive payment?
Payments are processed via Stripe through the Dub.co platform. You'll set up your payment details in your Partner Dashboard.
What happens if a customer gets a refund?
The 30-day provisioning window catches most refunds before commissions are paid. If a refund occurs after that, it will appear as a clawback and be deducted from future commissions.
Promotion & Brand
How should I promote Heroic?
Use your unique partner link in blog posts, social media, email newsletters, YouTube videos, podcasts, or direct recommendations. We provide promotional assets and swipe copy in Partner HQ.
Are there any promotion restrictions?
You cannot bid on Heroic or PhilosophersNotes brand keywords in paid ads, send unsolicited emails or spam, make misleading claims, or create fake reviews. You MAY run paid ads to your own content that naturally links to your partner URL. Full details are in the Partner Agreement.
Do I need to disclose that I'm a partner?
Yes. FTC guidelines require disclosure. Something as simple as "I'm a Heroic partner and may earn a commission if you purchase through my link" is sufficient.
Can I promote multiple Heroic products?
Yes. You can promote any eligible product in the suite. Many of our best partners promote the entry product and let the value ladder do the rest.
Incentives & Support
Are there bonuses beyond commissions?
Yes. Beyond base commissions, the program offers referral bounties, quarterly incentives for top performers, and partner discounts on Heroic products. Current details are in your dashboard and communicated via the partner newsletter.
Do partners get access to Heroic products?
Yes. Active partners receive product access and partner discounts. Specific benefits are outlined in your Partner Dashboard.
Who do I contact for help?
Email partners@heroic.us for any questions. Our Head of Partnerships is your dedicated point of contact. Active partners also receive a twice-monthly newsletter with updates, tips, and incentive announcements.
Can I suggest changes to the program?
Absolutely. We value partner feedback. Email partners@heroic.us with suggestions, questions, or ideas.
